The service
ShrinkFox is a free browser-based tool for resizing, cropping, compressing and converting images. It is provided as-is, without charge and without any guarantee of availability.
Your content
You retain all rights to the images you process. Because processing happens entirely in your browser, we never receive your files and claim no rights over them.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and modify any image you process, and for complying with applicable law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use ShrinkFox to process content that is unlawful, or to attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service in a way that interferes with others' use of it.
No warranty
ShrinkFox is provided without warranty of any kind. Image processing is inherently lossy — compression permanently discards data and cropping permanently removes pixels. Always keep your original files. We are not responsible for loss of image quality, loss of data, or any consequence of processing images with this tool.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or other consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Third-party trademarks
Shopify, WordPress, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok and X are trademarks of their respective owners. ShrinkFox is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. Platform names are used only to describe image dimensions those platforms recommend.
Changes
We may update these terms or modify or discontinue the service at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
